This illustration was created as the reaction against the new package of laws limiting women’s access to abortion. The parliament was discussing four new proposals despite the fact that Slovakia already has a low abortion rate. Many of the proposed changes can put women’s physical and mental health in danger. The abortion debate is not new and mostly is provoked by Conservative and Christian parties.
