Artist's book “The Cage” is a leporello created as a simulation of laboratory mouse cage. I wanted to introduce a kind of defined space in which the animal lives. Leporello can be folded to the shape of object - the cage. Various facts from the laboratory environment and breeding conditions of these animals are captured on individual pages. Overall, the book should look very clean and simple. I wanted to support the idea of ​​a sterile environment in the laboratory and point out that these animals are very important in experiments, but at the same time they are still living creatures.
